These are made using my recycled clay- some feature more or less speckling

The pot is thrown from 7 pounds of clay to ensure that it will have the heft to stabilize the large heads of flowers which will shoot up

Made to Order Buttercup Peony Dinnerware marbled pottery mug and I never tire ofA dinnerware set inspired by the fluffy warm breath of Spring. This project was conceived to capture that fleeting first bouquet of the peony flower. I spent a week throwing porcelain plates, and carving each piece to emulate the pillowy layers of paper thin petals, surrounded by their unearthly scent. Process: The initial set was cast in plaster, creating a mold from which successive pieces can be made. The porcelain clay is now pressed into the mold
