1852 Exchange Note Adams & Co. 1888 This 1832 Nova Scotia TokenAdams & Company Express Office San Francisco was a stage couches company and was bought out by Wells Fargo in the late 1850's. This note is dated Dec. 15th 1852 for $200. 00. It was issued in Downieville and redemed in Pittsburg. Pay to the Order of Alexander Carnahan. Note has many holes from where the signitures went threw the paper.
