I then sliced it up on my bandsaw and air dried for two years

with sap wood running around both sides and top which adds a nice natural frame to the piece

This jewellery box is made from American ash and has black walnut legs and handles

it has 3 compartments

the box has been finished with two coats of lemon oil and two coats of clear wax
