Croix always seems to produce extraordinary wines from this plot and while there is ample reduction present, it doesnt prevent the spice and floral notes from escaping the funk. The spiciness continues onto the rich, velvety and mouth coating flavors that are blessed with an abundance of dry extract that buffers the otherwise firm tannins on the elegant, refined and beautifully balanced finish. This is just a fantastically good
