There were no shorts or gas. Tube One measured 48 while Tube Two measured 49 where minimum (65%) is 38 and 100% is 58. I have played them in my Radio Craftsmen RC 2 monoblocks (with adapters not included) and they sound outstanding. They are dead quiet when the CD player is muted
