A strikingly complex and impressively pure nose of earthy red pinot fruit with animale hints and ample spice notes dissolves seamlessly into dusty and moderately concentrated flavors that like the RSV exude a finely wrought sense of poise and harmony on the impeccably well-balanced and explosive finish
but has the grip that suggests just how good this wine is
with its dark fruit and mineral flavors complicated by subtle spices
