The citrus-colored sample of the 2020 Vouvray Le Haut-Lieu Moelleux Première Trie still shows a very fine CO2 perlage in the glass that opens with clear and concentrated but also lush fruit and floral and chalky aromas

But the aromas don't stop there

Giovanni Corino, Barbera d'Alba Vigna Pozzo Vintage:2001 but with plenty of marrowIntense, with loads of black fruit and oaky character. Full bodied, with fine, compact tannins and a long finish. Refined and delicious. I always love this Barbera. Best after 2005. 500 cases made. JS
