With the aid of his expert pal Phil (Nat Pendleton), and dipsomaniac doc, Prescott (Lewis Stone), Brandon looks around the edges of the law for the angles that will bleed unscrupulous streetcar magnate Calhoun (Henry O'Neill) dry.
