E46 Rear Coil-Over Reinforcement Plates (Z4) K0186-95-SC is in stock. We do not accept returnsBMW E46 REAR COILOVER REINFORCEMENT PLATES The E46 had rear cast aluminum arms which will not hold up to the load focused on the center with a coilover setup. Why is this? It was designed for a spring which would sit on a larger area (spreading the load over the arm). Coilover springs are not only smaller in diameter but are also usually stiffer. This means that the load will be focused in a much smaller surface and WILL brake the cast aluminum arms.
