He's determined to find the diamond hunters (including Anthony Quayle and Sean Connery) who brought terror and death to a peaceful village

when his work takes the couple to New York

But life changes for Joe as he finds an apartment

Dick Powell ("42nd Street," "Murder, My Sweet") and Ruby Keeler ("That's Dancing!," "42nd Street") give great performances in this well made musical.
